Description
A jaguar and her cub were swimming in a river in the Pantanal when they entered dense aquatic vegetation. Moments later, after loud roars, the mother emerged from the foliage holding a live yellow anaconda in her teeth. This photo captures the moment the snake was still trying to strike the feline. Shortly after, she disappeared back into the vegetation for about two minutes and returned with the now-dead anaconda. I believe she killed it away from her cub to protect him from danger.
