Africa’s second most endangered canid, also known as the Painted dog, referring to their beautiful mottled coat. This puppy is one of 11 from the Pungwe pack who are no longer den-bound and running wild across the Sabi Sands. It’s not easy to catch wild dogs when they are completely stationary so this is one of my favourite shots to date.
