Description

Arnarstapi is a village in Iceland on the southern side of the Snæfellsnes peninsula, once an important trading post and fishing village for West Iceland but today the harbour is only used for small boats. The harbour is exceptionally beautiful surrounded with columnar basalt and diverse birdlife.   The area has several old and charming houses with interesting stories to them and is renowned for its beautiful nature.
