Yes, PicFlick uses software that prevents images from being copied from the PicFlick website. The only way a buyer can purchase an image is by ordering a print which means that digital copies of your artwork remain safe.
We welcome a wide variety of subject matter and photographic styles, but it is important that the quality of images meet the standard expected by art buyers. As such, all photographers who apply to sell on PicFlick are reviewed by a member of our team.
Not at all. PicFlick manages the entire printing, packaging, and delivery process. All you need to do is manage your profile and gallery. Once an image is purchased, we take it from there.
Never. We want to ensure that your photography is kept as you intended. If a customer requests a variation of an image, we will consult with you to provide the artwork if you agree with the variation.
Absolutely. You are welcome to upload black and white, sepia, or selective colour versions of an image to your gallery, as well as different orientations of the same image.
No. PicFlick highlights the talent and work of fine art photographers, which is why our customers love us. If we ever expand into digitally created art, we will let our photographers know (as some of them are digital artists too) and these pieces would be placed in a different area of the website to the photography.
Yes, we do. As we have international clients, we do a wide variety of marketing worldwide. But, to drive traffic to your artwork specifically, it is important that you promote your gallery through your own channels (such as social media). This increases the chances of a customer purchasing one of your images.
While we do offer custom sizes, most customers buy prints in standard paper sizes. To ensure your images are printed in the way you intended (and not cropped), we suggest that you upload images with a 1:1.41 aspect ratio. But if your image requires a custom ratio, you can always upload it as is.
How you price your images is completely up to you. Usually, image prices are based on your experience and expertise, but if you are unsure and want to stay competitive, you can browse the PicFlick website and see how comparable images are priced.
After subscribing, you may find you want to be able to add more images to your gallery or make a higher commission from sales. You can upgrade at any time by getting in touch with us.
You can cancel your subscription through your membership profile or through your PayPal subscription. Alternatively, you can send us an email and we will sort it out for you.
