Beya Illunga’s life was potentially saved by undergoing an eye test.
The Cape Town optometrist was able to pick up a health concern and acted swiftly in referring Beya for the necessary specialist care.
Beya is now a business owner and offer his services at his local church. He was also worked at the St John Cape Town centre for a short period after his experience.
