The most amazing feature of Jaci’s Tree Lodge in Madikwe Game Reserve is the Terrapin Hide, where the wildlife visiting the watering hole can be viewed at water level. This makes for some amazing photographic opportunities with an angle that you usually wouldn’t have. Last Saturday was a cloudy day, even with some spatters of rain. But the water was calm and smooth like a mirror. When the elephants came I was able to take this very special shot!
