Caimans on Reflection

This is a remote lake at the Pantanal, Brazil, in the transition of the dry season to the rainy. During the long and severe drought, this lake is one of the few water sources in a huge area. So wildlife in this period gravitates around it. Since caimans spend most of their time in the water, thousands of them migrate to the lake where they coexist in harsh conditions and tremendous food scarcity by the end of the drought, so the warmth of sunlight is a most valuable source of energy for this cold-blooded animals.
