Alvi is a green sea turtle and washed up in Struisbaai, near the southern most tip of Africa. He was in a very poor condition, and had a plastic bag stuck in his throat which almost caused his death. After a year under rehabilitation he was released and has already traveled past St Helena Island. There is nothing more rewarding than seeing rescued turtle thrive again back in the ocean.
