This beautiful female Mako shark was as majestic in real life as she is in this photograph. Being suspended in the deep blue, surrounded by a creature deemed as a ‘killing machine” and feeling nothing but a sense of calm, really makes me question the labels us as humans so quickly give to the things we don’t understand.
